Like snowflakes, my love came along on an autumn day to cheer your Greenland when the cold had taken over your joy since then, your heart became a wintered land where the sun maintains each layer of your skin well moist but just like snowflakes on your skin, my love slowly melted with the warmth of your hand as the tears of sadness and delight, both, veered their way through your fingernails since then memories of you and I, together, just remain as that- as melted snowflakes on your skin and perhaps, as nothing else but you know, I am glad for you are no longer cold, yet I do hope that your heart never again turns into another Greenland |
